Senior People Development Partner (f/m/d)

Germany (Remote)Vollzeit21h ago

We are seeking a Senior People Development Partner (f/m/d) to play a central role in embedding a high-performance, growth-oriented culture as Black Semiconductor scales. This role is instrumental in partnering with managers to bring development to life across the organization by delivering performance and talent processes, enabling meaningful career conversations, strengthening manager capability, and ensuring employees have the support they need to grow. Acting as a trusted partner to team leads, you will help turn established frameworks into everyday practice while building strong developmental partnerships that scale with the business.

The successful candidate will bring a blend of business partnering expertise, coaching capability, performance management experience, and a people-centered approach to help managers develop high-performing teams and support the company's continued growth.

To join our team, you should be excited to:

  • Partner closely with team leads as the dedicated People Partner for assigned client groups, supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.

  • Own the development agenda across the organization by partnering with managers on development planning, growth conversations, career progression, and underperformance from a development perspective.

  • Deliver company-wide Performance Review Cycles and Mid-Year Talent Reviews by preparing managers, facilitating calibration sessions, and ensuring high-quality follow-through on development outcomes.

  • Bring the Black Semiconductor Career Framework into everyday practice through leveling discussions, promotion cases, and career path conversations.

  • Coach managers to build confidence and capability in conducting meaningful development conversations, goal setting, feedback, and regular check-ins.

  • Activate learning within teams by encouraging continuous development, knowledge sharing, and practical application of existing learning resources.

  • Provide structured input into talent reviews and succession planning through a deep understanding of your client groups and their development needs.

  • Partner closely with the Director, People & Culture, Senior People Partner, and People Enablement team to ensure alignment between development strategy and execution.

  • Build trusted relationships with managers and employees, acting as the first point of contact for people development topics within your client groups.

  • Contribute to continuously improving people development practices by identifying opportunities to strengthen manager capability, development processes, and organizational effectiveness.

Your Qualifications

  • At least 6-10 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, People Development, or a related People & Culture role within an international organization.

  • Proven experience partnering directly with managers across the full employee lifecycle while supporting employee development and organizational growth.

  • Hands-on experience delivering performance management and talent review cycles, including manager preparation, calibration sessions, and development planning.

  • Strong coaching capability, with demonstrated success helping managers build their own people leadership skills rather than taking ownership of development conversations.

  • Experience applying career frameworks or leveling models in real business situations, including promotion discussions, growth planning, and development conversations.

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels while balancing business priorities with employee development.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, international, and highly collaborative environment where processes continue to evolve.

  • Strong judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence when handling sensitive employee and performance-related topics.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence managers and build credibility across the organization.

  • Fluency in English is required. German is considered a strong advantage.

  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills.

  • Previous experience in a fast-growing startup, technology, engineering, or deep-tech environment is highly desirable.
