Working in our agile team, you'll see the direct impact of your work on our users while helping drive one of the most exciting technology fields of our time. Tasks - Own architectural decisions and drive the technical evolution of our backend stack - Lead complex database and integration projects, including data modeling and migration strategies - Design and build secure, scalable, and resilient microservices and APIs - Define the technical approach for new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders - Review code, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance across the teamDefine the technical approach for new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders Requirements - 5+ years of professional experience developing backend systems with Go - Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, distributed systems, and data modeling - An open mindset toward AI-assisted software development and hands-on experience with coding agents - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (English is our working language) - A high degree of ownership and the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and solve complex technical challenges Nice to Have - Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership (people management experience is a plus) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments Benefits - Flexible working hours - Hybrid or fully remote work (Office in central Hamburg) - Subsidized Germany Ticket (Deutschlandticket) - Wellpass membership - Opportunity to shape products in a fast-growing startup - High degree of ownership - Team events - Salary of 70.000 - 80.000€ annually, based on your experience You'll become part of our cross-functional product team.
