We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician or Master’s student in physical sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Materials) to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term engagement, with the potential for a permanent position. The successful candidate will conduct preparatory studies to support the definition of our Liquid Defectivity roadmap, focusing on data-driven analysis, experimental design, and process optimization.

TASKS

  • Support the development and validation of new liquid analysis systems through experimental design, testing, and data-driven evaluation.
  • Design and conduct experiments to evaluate system performance, reproducibility, and defectivity metrics, and establish best-known methods (BKM) for liquid analysis workflows.
  • Perform measurements and analyze experimental data using MATLAB/Python and statistical methods to improve analysis methodologies and support product development decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams to structure validation activities, document findings, and support technical decision-making.
  • Present results clearly to stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement of development and testing processes.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Master’s student or degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Technical Experience: Hands-on laboratory experience with experimental design, measurement systems, data analysis, and scientific equipment. Experience with product development, validation, or applied research is a plus.
  • Programming & Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods. Experience with MATLAB or Python required.
  • Soft Skills: Highly organized, proactive, strong communication skills, and able to work independently in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
