About the Team
Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a Harness & Electrical Assembly Technician (m/f/d). You will play a key role in building and integrating the electrical systems that power next-generation launch vehicles and space technologies. Join us in shaping the future of New Space by delivering high-quality aerospace-grade electrical assemblies that enable reliable mission success.
Your Tasks
- Build, crimp, solder, terminate, route, and label wire harnesses and cable assemblies in accordance with schematics, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and aerospace quality standards.
- Install and integrate harnesses and electrical assemblies during AIT activities, ensuring proper routing, shielding, strain relief, and connectivity.
- Perform continuity, functional, and electrical tests using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and dedicated test equipment while documenting results accurately.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, GD&T layouts, BOMs, and controlled documentation to execute assembly activities efficiently and correctly.
- Apply rigorous quality inspections, ESD procedures, and troubleshooting methods while supporting process improvements, tooling trials, and first-article builds.
Your Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship or formal training as an electrician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in wire harness assembly, cable fabrication, or electro-mechanical manufacturing, emphasizing precision and quality.
- Skilled in testing and troubleshooting with industry-standard diagnostic tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and electrical test fixtures.
- Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and ability to interpret technical drawings, BOMs, cable lists, and work instructions while ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, motorsport, or other high-reliability manufacturing sectors, coupled with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, capable of thriving in an English-speaking technical environment.
