Position: Music & Lyrics Expert - Portuguese
Type: Contract
Compensation: $18–$42/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Up to 6 months
Commitment: 20+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated music across various genres. Rate it against detailed quality standards.
- Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities.
- Rate lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
- Evaluate whether lyrics sound natural, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
- Work independently and asynchronously in both Portuguese and English.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Native or near-native proficiency in Portuguese. Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
- Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist. Knowledge of the Portuguese music scene.
- Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
Preferred
- Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
- Credited or published songwriting work.
- Broad familiarity with contemporary Portuguese genres, sub-genres, and artists.
