Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - German
Type: Contract
Compensation: $42/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI training data in German by auditing multilingual transcription and forced alignment tasks.
- Review recordings and transcriptions to ensure accuracy, applying error codes and providing clear rationales.
- Verify and correct audio segments for precise start and end timestamps, ensuring transcription alignment.
- Work independently to deliver high-quality judgments with detailed written feedback.
- Collaborate asynchronously, maintaining consistency across hundreds of judgments.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Native or near-native command of German as spoken in Germany.
- Strong English reading and writing skills.
- Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, or linguistic annotation.
- Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently.
Preferred
- Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience.
- Background in phonetics or linguistics.
- Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
