We're an early-stage start-up based in Zürich, and real DACH distributors, wholesalers, and manufacturers already run on Hoshii. Across 50+ customers we're seeing outcomes like 2x faster order handling, 6 hours saved per person each week, and 83% fewer errors.

We're expanding our GTM team and hiring additional Business Development Representatives (BDR).
Tasks
About the role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) joining our GTM team, you'll run Hoshii's outbound engine in the DACH region and work closely with our Account Executives (AEs). This is a focused outbound qualification role: you book meetings and create pipeline through outbound. You don't close, and it's not a full-cycle seat - our AEs take it from the meeting onward. The focus is outbound, not inbound.
In this role you will:
- Own the top of the funnel. Build target account lists against our ICP and run multichannel outbound: cold calls, email, LinkedIn etc.
- Book qualified meetings. Turn research and sharp messaging into discovery calls for our AEs. Meetings booked and pipeline created is the scoreboard, not activity.
- Hand off clean. Qualify hard and pass warm, well-briefed meetings to our AEs. You create the opportunity; they close it.
- Write outbound that gets replies. Short, specific, relevant to someone drowning in order emails. No spray-and-pray.
- Pick up the phone. A lot. Cold-calling German-speaking DACH prospects is core to this role, not optional.
- Feed the machine. Keep HubSpot clean, log what works, and flag which messaging, industries, and personas are landing so we can double down.
- Use AI as a force multiplier. We expect you to be AI-native and genuinely 3x more productive because of it.
Requirements
- 1-2 years in a Sales Development, BDR/SDR, or customer-facing role.
- A completed bachelor's degree.
- Fluent in German and English. You'll prospect DACH accounts in German; we run internally in English.
- Resilient, coachable, and competitive. You bounce back fast and want to be better every single week.
- AI-native. You already use AI tools to move faster.
- Comfortable on the phone and unafraid to start conversations with strangers.
- Bonus points: experience selling into the Mittelstand, exposure to ERP / manufacturing / distribution, or previous startup experience.
