We're a team of engineers and energy experts who came together at RWTH Aachen University with a straightforward realization: the power grids that have served us for decades aren't equipped for what's coming. Millions of solar panels, wind turbines, charging stations, and heat pumps need to connect to the grid, and the old manual processes just can't keep up. So we built the Intelligent Grid Platform to transform static power grids into digital, flexible systems that can handle this transition.
What started as a research project in 2017 has grown into a global team of over 175 people across 23 nationalities, working with 75+ utilities worldwide. We're proud to be recognized as one of the world's most innovative clean-tech companies, but what really drives us is the work itself - helping grid operators digitize their operations, accelerate interconnection processes, and make smarter investment decisions. In 2024, we expanded to Boston to support U.S. utilities, but our mission remains the same: building practical software that makes the energy transition faster, safer, and more efficient for everyone involved.
