Drive the energy transition by providing sustainable technological solutions through our digital platform, facilitating from planning to contract tendering to implementation of renewable energy systems in real estate and industrial companies. We enable our customers to increase the economic efficiency and CO2 balance of their properties while minimizing technical, commercial, and energy risks.
To strengthen our Product Management team, we are looking for an Energy Data Analyst & Developer who will contribute to the analysis of energy data, support the development of AI-based price and energy forecasts, and generate actionable insights through the analysis of operational and financial performance. Join this energy revolution and help us transform energy supply in a sustainable and economically viable way!
Tasks
- Analyze energy data, including production, consumption, and storage information to identify optimization opportunities
- Conduct AI-based market analysis and contribute to the development of price and energy forecasts
- Analyze asset data, project progress and operational, environmental as well as financial performance
- Perform trend, variance and gap analysis, translating findings into actionable recommendations
- Validate data quality and perform plausibility checks to continuously improve analytical outputs
- Develop and maintain a central data and reporting infrastructure in close collaboration with IT teams
- Create KPI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with management, operations, sales, and country organizations to support data-driven decision-making
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Informatics, Physics, Engineering or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years building data pipelines that ran in production, with real users and real consequences when they broke — not proofs of concept
- High proficiency in SQL, including window functions and time-series aggregation, and strong Python
- Experience operating a time-series or analytical data store — TimescaleDB, PostgreSQL at scale, ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks or comparable
- Practical experience deploying and maintaining your own infrastructure: infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar), CI/CD, containers, cloud
- You have been on the hook when a pipeline failed, and can describe what you changed afterwards
- Comfortable being the sole owner of a system — you will have a team around you, but nobody will be assigning you tickets for the parts you own
Benefits
- An attractive salary package and exciting development opportunities
- Further training in renewable energies and project management
- A dynamic, innovative environment with short decision-making processes and plenty of creative freedom
- The opportunity to play an active role in the energy transition and make a real impact
