Über die Rolle
Die Threat-Intelligence-Funktion ist Teil von CSO Governance, Business Services, Threat & Strategy (GBTS). Ihr Auftrag ist es, Bedrohungen zu identifizieren und frühzeitig zu erkennen, die Auswirkungen auf die Deutsche Bank – ihre Mitarbeitenden, Vermögenswerte, Prozesse und Interessen – haben könnten. Threat Intelligence bewertet und kommuniziert relevante Erkenntnisse an Stakeholder, sodass diese fundierte Maßnahmen ergreifen können, um Auswirkungen zu verhindern oder zu minimieren.
Als Teil des Threat-Intelligence-Teams ist der/die Regional Lead für sämtliche operativen Aktivitäten sowie die Koordination innerhalb der verantworteten Region zuständig.
Die Rolle umfasst primär die Identifikation von Cyberbedrohungen, erfordert jedoch auch ein breites Verständnis geopolitischer Entwicklungen und Einflussfaktoren, die sich sowohl auf die Cyber- als auch auf die physische Bedrohungslage auswirken können.
Der/die Regional Lead berichtet an den Global Head – jede Region verfügt über eine/n eigene/n Lead im Rahmen eines „Follow-the-Sun“-Modells.
Ihre Verantwortlichkeiten
Steuerung aller regionalen Teamaktivitäten auf strategischer und operativer Ebene (Operations, Mitarbeitende, Prozesse) sowie aktive Anleitung, Unterstützung und Feedback für Teammitglieder zur Steigerung der operativen Effektivität
Proaktive Identifikation und Priorisierung von Bedrohungen aus verschiedenen Quellen sowie Identifikation technischer Threat Intelligence (z.B. IoCs) zur Unterstützung von Schutzmaßnahmen
Aufbau und Pflege eines strategischen Lagebildes der Bedrohungslage sowie Entwicklung regionaler Strategien zu Bedrohungen und geopolitischen Risiken
Sicherstellung qualitativ hochwertiger und fristgerechter Threat Assessments; ebenso Erstellung präziser Reports auf strategischer und operativer Ebene
Präsentation von Intelligence-Ergebnissen in relevanten Gremien und Repräsentation der Threat Intelligence in relevanten Foren (z.B. CISO Council)
Ihre Fähigkeiten und Erfahrung
Mehrjährige (min. 8 Jahre) fundierte Erfahrung im Bereich Cyber Threat Intelligence inkl. Erfahrung im Management operativer Teams (u.a. Führung, Training und Weiterentwicklung von Mitarbeitenden; Durchführung von Leistungsfeedbacks)
Erfahrung im Umgang mit Threat Assessments und Risikoberichten sowie Kenntnisse in der Schwachstellenanalyse und technischer Datenanalyse (z.B. SPLUNK)
Erfahrung in der Arbeit auf taktischer und strategischer Ebene sowie in der Steuerung komplexer Risiken
Idealerweise relevante Cybersecurity-Zertifizierungen (z.B. CISSP, SANS)
Fließende Deutsch- und sehr gute Englischkenntnisse sowie ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Einflussfähigkeiten

About the role
The Threat Intelligence function is part of CSO Governance, Business Services, Threat & Strategy (GBTS). Its mandate is to identify and forewarn of threats that could impact Deutsche Bank – its people, assets, operations and interests. Threat Intelligence will assess and communicate intelligence to stakeholders, enabling them to take informed necessary action to prevent or mitigate impacts to Deutsche Bank.
As part of the Threat Intelligence Team, the Regional Lead is responsible for all operational activities and coordination within their specific region. The role is responsible for the identification of threats from primarily cyber threats perspective, but with broad appreciation of geopolitical developments and drivers which could impact the threat landscape across cyber as well as physical realms.
The Regional Lead reports to the Global Head and each region has a lead as part of an operational follow-the-sun model.
Your key responsibilities
Supervise all regional team activities at a strategic and operational level (operations, people, processes) as well as provide active guidance, support and feedback to team members with the aim of increasing operational effectiveness
Proactively identify and prioritize threats from a range of intelligence sources as well as identify technical threat intelligence (e.g. IOC’s) to drive protection and broader defensive activities
Develop and maintain a strategic and operational view of the threat landscape as well as develop strategic regional operational plans towards emerging threats and geo-political risks
Ensure the timely completion of threat assessments to a high and consistent standard; produce accurate and timely reporting at both strategic and operational level
Present intelligence to inform and influence decision making and represent Threat Intelligence across various engagements (e.g. CISO Council meetings)
Your skills and experience
At least eight years’ experience in cyber threat intelligence operations incl. experience in managing operational teams (leadership, training and development across the team; performance evaluation)
Experience in managing threat assessments and risk reports as well as with the detection and exploitation of security vulnerabilities and analyzing technical data across different technologies (e.g. SPLUNK)
Experience in Threat Intelligence operations at a tactical and strategic level as well as managing complex risks
Ideally possess relevant cyber security qualifications/certifications (e.g. CISSP, SANS)
Fluent German and very good English language skills as well as strong communication and influencing skills
