For one of our client, we have been exclusively
mandated for the search of their next Head of Fund Sales in Romandy. We are
looking for a Senior Sales, hunter, able to lead the fundraising for the fund
towards Institutional Clients, Private Banks, External Asset Managers and HNW
individuals. The knowledge of Romandy is key and an important network is
required added to a sales DNA, The chosen one will be in charge of raising money
for the Fund in a niche of Investment. Private markets experience is clearly a
plus.
Key Responsibilities
●Develop and execute a comprehensive
local expansion strategy, including market analysis, target prioritization, and
growth milestones
●Own local commercial performance,
including revenue targets, pipeline development, and sales forecasting
●Drive sales execution across
identified distributor targets (Wealth Managers, Private Banks, Family Offices,
Digital platforms…)
●Lead prospecting and relationship
management with financial intermediaries, converting qualified leads into
long-term partnerships and investment commitments
●Design and oversee marketing
initiatives adapted to local market dynamics, in close collaboration with the
group central marketing team
●Ensure an exceptional client
experience across the full investment lifecycle: onboarding, transaction
execution, portfolio follow-up, exits, and reinvestment opportunities
●Uphold group investment discipline
and brand positioning by ensuring high-quality investor selection
●Once growth has built, recruit and
manage a local team (1–2 direct reports), fostering a high-performance,
entrepreneurial culture
●Represent the group at industry
events, media engagements, and high-level client meetings
●Ensure local activities comply with
applicable regulatory and distribution frameworks, in coordination with central
legal and compliance resources
●Act as the voice of the local market
internally, providing feedback on investor appetite, deal structuring, and
sales processes to continuously improve the group’s funds model
Requirements
In terms of
profile, here is what we are looking for:
●Minimum 10 years of successful B2B
and B2C sales experience in alternative asset classes (hedge funds, private
equity, real estate investment, structured products, or similar)
●Proven track record in building and
managing relationships with HNWI clients, Family Offices, Private Banks and EAMs
●Deep network in Switzerland's wealth
management, Private Banking, and Family Office communities
●Strong business development skills:
ability to lead complex negotiations, close partnerships, and nurture long-term
relationships
●Entrepreneurial mindset with the
ability to operate autonomously, take ownership of local market development and
the related P&L
●Comfort with digital tools and sales
platforms for client relationship management
●Fluent in French and English, German
could be plus
